There is SO much to learn about how to put on a show! Whether you are interested in what is needed to be on the stage: audition techniques, musical theatre, script writing, improv, comedy, and more....OR what goes on behind the scenes: set design, front of house, backstage management, concession, makeup...this class is for you!

Carly Millman and Amy Haysom will teach this exciting class full of ALL the elements of the stage! Improv, comedy, musical theatre, and drama techniques for those keen on performing...along with set design, backstage management, props, makeup, costumes, front of house, and even concession! for those who know it takes many hands on deck to produce a great show!

Carly Millman is a performing artist and has performed in a number of drama productions and musicals in Victoria BC. She teaches musical theatre and drama technical skills, including a focus on voice projection and audition techniques. Amy Haysom is a long time teacher of the creative and performing arts. She has performed in a number of productions on Saltspring Island. Guest instructors will offer backstage training, set design techniques, and more!

Note: This class will prepare any children interested in auditioning and or working behind the scenes for a SPRING MUSICAL all ages collaborative production coming in Spring 2023!
