Our Winter, Spring Break and Summer Camps have been a tremendous success and a ton of fun since we launched in 2020! Spirit of Adventure Programs inspire co-creative leadership, creative expression, self inquiry, as well as plenty of fun and safe adventure experiences! Winter, spring-break, and summer camps

Spirit of Adventure offers Arts and adventure based camps on Saltspring during Winter, Spring Break and Summer! At each Spirit of Adventure camp, Amy, and a fun and skilled team of facilitators, offer creative and adventure based activities based on the theme, and support the natural spirit that lies within each child. Creative Arts + Dance Adventure Series

Spirit of Adventure Creative Arts and Dance Adventure Series on Saltspring Island features a variety of Dance, Movement, Creative, Visual and Performing Arts classes that feature specialty teachers in each style. Co-Creative Alternative Education Salt Spring Island

In 2020, Amy experimented with an Arts and Adventure based 8-month alternative education program on Saltspring island. With roots in Waldorf education, while also inclusive of intercultural and indigenous learnings, this program supported self inquiry, project development, and academic development through outdoor/adventure and creative based programming.

We took a break from programming in 2021/2022 to explore and expand our camp offerings and assess local/global educational needs.

This program is currently in development with plans to move to a more individualized Project-based Inquiry model, and perhaps even to Online Education hybrid learning! To learn more about the Co-Creative Alternative Education Saltspring 2022/2023 offering:

Covid, Communication

and Connection Conscious

We are now in a communicable diseases phase of health and wellness practices. Masks will not be required, however, regular hand washing/sanitizing and staggered drop-offs/pickups will be established. Amy is Emergency CPR/First Aid certified.
