What is Spirit of Adventure?

Spirit of Adventure is an eclectic and adventurous mix of outdoor, yoga, and creative based programs guaranteed to meet all ages and interests! Originating as outdoor yoga and creative based programming, Spirit of Adventure soon expanded to include kids programming, as well as specialty collaborations with like-minded adventurous individuals, companies, and groups!

We explore, learn, and practice in nature based locations and increase our connection to, and awareness of, the natural world around us. We offer classes, retreats and camps on mountains, in forests, on farms, in orchards, and even on the ocean! We explore the creative spirit and weave the practice with music, the creative arts, and self inquiry practices to inspire our own creative expression!

When we adventure with passion into our inner and outer landscapes, the possibility for discovery is endless!

Set Your Compass

Spirit of Adventure Yoga takes you into some wonderful landscapes! Our intention with our yoga offerings is to support your deepening into the practice whilst out in nature, and within creative and unique experiences.

We move with seasons, and offer outdoor practices so as to dance (even literally!) with the elements around us.

We offer Silent Disco Yoga classes and events with live DJs and hushed headsets. These are a beautiful opportunity to experience live music and be guided in a large outdoor setting. Safe and fun for small or larger groups!

Creative specialty retreats will include weaving yoga into sustainability projects such as beekeeping, permaculture or cider making…or we will explore creative arts such as music and yoga, or art and yoga journeys, and online ones too, to name a few!

Spirit of Adventure Education believes that every child has a spirit that is ready and willing to explore, and we support safe and healthy adventures to meet that creative adventurous spirit for a variety of ages!

Creative Movement and Arts Education classes happen weekly on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays on Saltspring in 2022, and meet the variety of creative expressions children wish to explore through movement!

*Note: Currently, all Education offerings are held on Saltspring Island. These may expand to other locations soon. Please reach out if interested to host a Spirit of Adventure Education camp in your location!
